Megaman X is one of my all-time favourite games, though I couldn’t tell you what inspired me to recreate the run cycle animation with a personalised sprite.

Rigging the sprite up into a keyframe animation via a css steps() timing function was super straightforward, though.

I was inspired to recreate this statue from Bilbao after a trip to Spain.

It gave me a simple scope to play around with Three.js, which was a nice way to ease into the unknown with it.
